I bought a used iPhone with 1960 mails through iCloud. How can I get rid of them?

bought a used iphone with 1960 mails through icloud.

how can i get rid of them without icloud password.it demands the password then i can set up my own ,but the previous owner will not disclose it to me?

Welcome to iMore. Unless you can get the previous owner to give you the password, you are out of luck. Not sure though why the previous owner would not do that for you if you bought the phone from them.
