Being an Android user for many years, I got the iPhone 6s plus for a change. I have many photos upload to Google Photos and would like to make copies and add them to iCloud photos (I'd still use Google Photos as a back up, its just easier to use one photo service and having to bounce back and forth is a pain)
I tried Google Takeout but it keeps giving me an error and saying not everything was downloaded.
Any other ways to get my photos?

Can you save them to drop box and then from drop box to your camera roll ?

I could but I would have to off load them one at a time from Google Photos

    Try this

Or maybe open iCloud on a computer and see if you can drag and drop them

You can mark many photos in Google Photos to save to wherever. It doesn't have to be one at a time.
