    I am in the middle of setting up my apple music free trial via Telstra. And to do so, I have to enable the icloud music library but it asks me to merge or replace the music already on this device with the icloud device and I don't understand what this means?

    Welcome to iMore! Merging will take all of the music on your device and add it to any music in your music library. This sound like the option you will want to choose unless you want your local device's music library overwritten.
