I have purchased the 200 gb icloud storage plan. I have 150 gb of photos on our old desktop PC in the office where we have used picasa to organize and print photos for years. I now have a macbook pro and want to start using the photos app to work on my photos (and possibly move away from picasa).

How can I do a batch upload of all of these old photos to icloud? I can only find a way to do it photo by photo.

    Thanks.

Save the photos to a SD card & transfer them that way.

The photos are currently on a pc, I'd rather not put them all on my mac, i'd just like to get them all uploaded to icloud photo. My understanding is that I can then use the new photos app to view/edit all the photos without them being copied on to the macbook.
