Hello,
I have icloud set to save my photos, apps and contacts. My apps all fit on the main page, and are less than 500mb. My photos are 3.4gb. My iCloud backup is at 4.9gb, and I have had to delete my saved videos to stay under the limit.
My question is, what other kinds of files is iCloud backing up that takes so much space? I occasionally get imessage pics sent to me, but I doubt its enough to equate to a gb worth. I like the idea of iCloud, but I also like keeping photos on my iphone. Do I have to manually go through all my messages and delete the mms photos/ videos Ive received over time? I would like to stay on the free icloud 5gb plan, and do not want to pay for it since I can just manually backup if its that important. I just like how it auto saves my pics, and imessage items. I have my contacts saved to gmail but I am not thinking it alone will fill up the mysterious 1gb of data its saving.
