How can I resolve the cannot sign in & account limit reached errors in regard to iCloud?
- I wanted to know how to solve problem with "Cannot Sign In" & "Account Limit Reached" that has popped up when I tried to login new AppleID on iCloud. I've struggled with it... obviously previous owner may have used up limit 3 accounts that activated on same device. How do I get it reset or wipe clean slate so I can have AppleID activate & enable iCloud?
Thanks!06-04-2012 10:43 PMLike 0 - Yes, I've tried that but no luck.
What happened is that when I login with my Apple ID, I get this error notice:
"Cannot Sign In
The maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this iPod touch."
This turns out someone has used up before I bought an used iPod which I couldn't use iCloud on this device anymore.
Other one I learned when I tried out by creating new Apple ID on this device the alert came up said:
"Account Limit Reached
This device is no longer eligible for creating a free iCloud account."
I'm *SO* baffled that Apple really restrict iCloud to 3 accounts on all devices. I don't think it's fair for me and anyone else who bough used any Apple devices.
Since no one know how to solve this problem so I'm gonna try to bring in to one of Apple retail store to see if I can convince an employee to help me fix this.06-05-2012 05:03 AMLike 0 - Dear,

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.110-23-2014 03:05 PMLike 0 - You get a 3 iCloud account limit per device. This must be the 4th and you're getting the "Cannot Sign In" notice. I have no idea why it's that way.10-23-2014 04:29 PMLike 0

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk06-28-2015 07:00 PMLike 0 - You can't create or activate more than 3 iCloud accounts on the same device. This is to prevent users from creating multiple accounts for unlimited storage in iCloud.06-28-2015 07:36 PMLike 0
- Just Create a free iCloud account at ICloud.com and then sign into the device. The device cannot create more than 3 free apple id's on that particular device. You can just go and create one on a computer or another apple device that hasn't created more than 3 iCloud accounts on it, after that you should be able to sign in just fine. Please let me know if that resolves your issue.10-26-2015 03:48 PMLike 0

- Hey Frnd I have a solution for your problem,
Restoring or Resetting your iDevice does NOT change this. You cannot bypass this error message.
Condition:
In which Device you make Your Id There is no three apple ID be made Before.
I Recommend creating an additional iCloud account using a Mac or a different IDevice.
If You Are Creating an account via Windows PC its not work.
you have to use Apple Device to creat your Working Id.
After the create a new iCloud account with another Apple Device you will able to sign in.10-22-2018 05:35 AMLike 0
