iCloud Contact Backup

Okay, guys, I know I screwed something up. I installed iCloud on my work computer and I was doing a backup. It did every backup except for downloading my contacts from my phone to my computer. I turned off the contacts in iCloud on the phone and turned them back on and it worked. However, when I went to my contacts app there is nothing in there. When I open the phone and view contacts that way, they're all there (the ones from the phone and the ones from the work outlook account). Is there anyway, without a hard reset, to get the contacts to transfer from the phone app to the contacts app? If not, I'm not actually sure I need them in there, it is just easier to access with one push instead of two.
