I've been trying to set up my iCloud mail account and test its send/receive ability. Sending messages from iCloud works fine, but I keep getting this message when I send test messages from my GMail account:
"Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
ryanbrodeur@me.com
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias: ryanbrodeur@me.com (state 14)."
At first I thought it was because I had spent a while trying to get my MobileMe trial address to function with iCloud, but when I set up my wife's iCloud account without any futzing around I got the same kickback from her.
Thoughts, anyone?
