OS X Lion either does support or will support iCloud, but for the full advantages, get iOS 5.

You don't need iOS5 or other devices. I just installed the update on my Mac by going to Software Updates. Then, in System Preferences, there will be an iCloud option there. Only problem now is I don't know how to back up.

I don't think there's a backup option on the Mac. But, I only use it for my iOS devices.

But then how does it work? lol If I go into Manage then it shows Backups as 0. So, there has to be an option to Backup, right?

Perhaps, or maybe it's all tied to iOS devices. Apple hardly ever mentions the Mac playing a significant role in iCloud. Yes, it's there, but the backups I see are all iOS backups.

Okay, got it to 'somehow' work/make sense. Went to icloud.com and some of my info is 'backed up' there, like contacts and calendars. So, you don't need multiple devices for iCloud
