So, it's announced...said it's free today. Where? When?

Will my .me account work with it? New domain?

What will work with my 3GS?

Sometime in the Fall, quickreply, widgets, updated maps or weather apps? Maybe in the next 1-5 years? I hope you're patient!

kind of confused after watching the WWDC today. They said iCloud would be available with IOS5 but "iTunes in the cloud" is compatible with IOS 4.3 beta. You can use iCloud to backup photos, apps, device settings, documents, and of course, music. 5GB limit on the music however. Also offering a $24.99/year option to match your existing library to music that apple currently has on its servers and upscale to 256bit AAC without having to upload your own files. So no real release date yet.

To get the beta release of itunes in the cloud today, you need to download the latest itunes update. Go here for the info: Apple - iCloud - All your music on all your devices. or just use this Apple download link.

I think it's 5GB limit for mail, not music, which doesn't count against your limit.

Even though the link says 10.3, it's still downloading 10.2.2. Not quite ready yet, my guess.

    Looks like you're right.

Apple - iCloud stores your content and pushes it to your devices.

Also, where does this leave "Find My iPhone" function? Mysteriously absent from the iCloud info pages on apple.

Go into the app store on your phone, it's changed, there's now a purchased apps section with a cloud icon which I guess you can download from??

Be gone, iTroll! You are not wanted here!

Steve said specifically that iCloud in iTunes is available today, which I guess he meant to say the App Store, because it's nowhere to be found in the iTunes app yet. If you open the App Store though, go to updates, and there's a purchased menu. You can see all the apps you've ever downloaded and you can download them again if need be.

I think it's kind of stupid that it shows ALL apps, at least it should only show the paid apps because they are the only ones where this service is needed. I don't need a list of 500 apps, I've had iPhones since 2008.
