Hello,
I've been looling for ways to add something like a random timer to my automations, but apparently it's not implemented.
It seems like a basic feature to add something like a "sometime between 8 and 9 o'clock." to an automation so that while we are away on vacation the light doesn't start exactly at the same time so burglers can't find the pattern easily.
Does anybody have any advice on this?

Hopefully, those who use home automations and can offer recommendations will reply soon.

If all you want is for lights to come on at different times everyday, you should utilize a "at sunset" trigger, because sunset is at a different time everyday.

If I wanted to be a little more random than that, I would use IFTTT. You could setup multiple recipes to turn on/off/dim lights to certain percentages at different times and then manually enable/disable different ones each day. You could also setup recipes to set the lights to a certain percentage when the temperature reaches a certain degree, or it starts raining/snowing etc.
