I have a phillips hue bridge with five bulbs connected , works fine from hue app on my iphone, however when i try and link to google home app the hue bridge won't link. When I sign into the hue account the bridge won't link. Have spent countless hours following suggestions on line with no success, I'm not a tech wizard so am i missing something? everything is on same network, bridge is connected at router, tried manual ip entry. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you tried using the Home app instead of the Google Home app? On an Apple device, I'm not sure I see why you would use Google Home and not the native app available for an Apple device.

I use the native Home app on my Apple devices for our Phillips Hue, and it works just fine.

Do you own a Google Home device? Is your Google Home device linked to the same Google account that you're signed into the Google Home app with?

If you don't have a Google Home device I believe you should download the Google Assistant app, not the Google Home app.
