I discovered Homebridge last night, a lightweight free/open source multi platform app that allows you to bridge between HomeKit and many other automation platform, of specific interest for me was WeMo.

After 30 minutes of playing around, I had everything working perfectly, with five devices under control from my various iOS devices, and now shared with my family and automated from my Apple TV.

I've been using Homebridge to link in my SmartThings devices. Once someone makes a HomeKit Z-Wave hub, I'll be able to stop using it though. It's been remarkably stable though. It's only gone down once in 2 years when the SD card ran out of space from all the logs lol.
