    Increased my strength training. Trying for 4 sets starting tomorrow. The push-ups are my biggest hurdle. I believe I can, so I will.

    I've been doing the push-ups, sit-ups, and squats from week 1 and have started to feel little better. I plan on continuing it and try to up the numbers.

    I've dropped 14 pounds since the first of the year, down to 196 from 209 (I'm 6'2"). It's all a matter of cutting out the junk.

    I've set my goal at losing 3 lbs a week, by using the app myfitnesspal, and by doing 30 minutes of cardio a day. This week like the previous 3 have been a success. I'm down 18 lbs in 4 weeks now. My
    Goal is to get to 155, my college weight, by June 1 (beach vacation). 28 lbs to go.

    I am still under the weather.... I felt the best when I was outside snowblowing today... it relieved my congestion temporarily. I did also get some exercise in.... a walk with my dog.

    I hope to be back on track as soon as I get well...

    An hour Zumba this morning and an hour at the gym this afternoon. I am so sore but it feels good. And tomorrow is another day to start it all over again.

    Hey Guys, I quit smoking on Feb 5th, last Sunday, and as a smoker of over 20 years, well it's been a tough week! I heard about the fitness forum and the possible iPad 3 at stakes, so I thought, what the Hell, I just quit, why not! So here I am! I'll be sure to keep letting you guys know how I'm doing.     I have decided to finally make the switch to standing at my desk at home. I sit at my desk at work, and then I come home and sit at my desk. That's a lot of sitting. And from every blog post I've read about standing at the desk, it's going to be a workout for the first two weeks.

    I've already been at it for a couple days, and my calves are killing me. That's a good sign, I think. I can already tell standing while playing Quake Live or WoW is good for me. I don't do it for as long a stretch of time between breaks. I even walked back and forth between my kitchen to cook real actual food! Don't know whether it is sadder that I was trying to play WoW while cooking, or that I was thinking of ways Blizzard could change WoW so that I can cook while playing it.

    If you can't stand for long stretches and still want a little workout, you might want to try sitting on one of those exercise balls. A friend of mine swapped her desk chair for one of those and said it worked her core a bit.

    Still doing the gym - 35 mins of uphill climb yesterday and today. Just made a healthy lunch of cod and salad. I feel great.

    Due to some blood test results I am having to change food intake and add Vitamin D and calcium to my daily routine. Since I've never been able to drink milk I will need to eat ice cream, however, that is the only "sweet" food I will eat. I encourage anyone who is dieting to have blood work done to be sure you are still getting the vitamins you need.

    My goal for the week is basically to get back into my good habits for the whole week...the last two weeks I've been pigging out and having lots of desserts and alcohol and pasta. My goal is to be close to my calorie goal (within 100 cals) every day.
