Gmail in notification center

I wish there was an option to turn message preview "on or off". Gmail notifications take up way too much space in notification center because it gives a preview I the message. I don't like this. Anyone else feel the same?

Settings>> Notifications >>Mail >> Show Preview switch to off...

I'm speaking of the Gmail app itself. It doesn't the option to turn preview on on off...

Just set up gmail in the native iOS app... it works just fine.

Yeah that's what I ended up doing. I love the organizational features of the Gmail app. Can't get away from using both apps. I wish the native app offered a "conversation view" like Gmail does.

Correct. I feel they should add support for message preview also.
