Gmail Marking Everything as Spam

Whenever I check my gmail on my iPhone it marks everything as spam, and when I try to put it into the inbox it puts it back into the spam folder. Also, when I do the same with my iPad and on the website it stays in the inbox until I check for new mail on my iPhone, then it moves it back. I have also tried setting it up as an exchange account and it does the same thing. My iPhone is a vzw iPhone 4 on 4.2.6.
