Gmail question?

I have the iPhone 4 with 4.0.1 firmware and use Gmail.

When I open Gmail on my computer I have two messages in my inbox. When I open Gmail on my iphone there are not any messages in the inbox.

When I receive a new message it shows up on both the computer and iPhone.

Does anyone know why my inbox is not the same on both?

How did you setup the Gmail account on your iPhone?

Sounds like you have some unread messages that are older than what you choose to sync to the phone. Try this: open Gmail on your computer and do a search for "is:unread" to find those emails. Read them or delete them--so your inbox is back to zero--then everything should be back to normal.
