I subscribe. But, I never purchased these songs. Does Amazon give songs away when first subscribing?

It's been difficult to clarify what I meant by "app subscriptions". Many are listing media and streaming services and whatnot. Many of those don't require an iOS app. For example, you can get Netflix on your TV without an iOS app. iCloud storage is not an app. Music is not an app. The service is within the Music app. Amazon Prime doesn't need an app, as you can log in to the service online.
What I was looking for is like weather apps, photo editing apps, apps like Jib Jab. It seems too many apps in the app store want you to pay them every month now, rather than a one time payment for a pro version or something. Even TapaTalk has ruined the free version in an attempt to force users to pay them each month for VIP. Then there's Facetune 2. I paid for Facetune years ago, so now they create a new app that requires subscription, rather than updating the app I paid for. Too many apps have gone hog wild with subscriptions. If I subscribed to all the apps I'd like, it would be like another car payment.
I have noticed on this thread, that most don't subscribe to apps (other than media and streaming) hardly at all. This being a tech savvy bunch, I find that interesting.

I agree Ledsteplin and the bottom line is Apple is allowing this. There has been several apps that use to require a one time bottom line price that have become GREEDY and now wants a monthly subscription fee. I really think Apple need to intervene and stop this GREED. ..IMHO

Yeah. When I got my first iPhone in January 2012, the only apps that offered subscription were newspapers and magazines. It should have remained that way.
