Why is there no "set as" option in photos on my iphone?

I am new iphone user and in my previous android phones while scrolling through photos if I liked a pic I could use set as option and set the photo as either my Whatsapp or Facebook profile picture but I don't see any such option on Iphone, am I missing something?

Right now to set the pic I liked as my say for eg Whatsapp profile I have to open whatsapp, go to setting, go to change profile pic and it opens gallery for me and then I find the pic that I liked and select. Why no "set as" option?

First remember you are using an iPhone and not an android. The OS on each phone are different. You can't expect them to be the same. I use both android and iPhone. There are differences that you will need to become accustomed to.

Yea that option doesn’t exist on iPhone. You have to go into your WhatsApp and set up your profile picture.
