....Hates Apple so much they call it an evil company, but they won't really answer your question if you ask why?
The person in question lives in my building and he is a professional computer repair guy. He has a very strong bias for android phones, he says he can just do more with them. But the problem arose when I was in the elevator and we talked a little and I just discovered two days ago (while in that elevator that moment) that the iOS 11.0.1 update was available. And I was glad I said "ah GOOD, they put out a fix and it's good because a lot of people were having issues with the iOS 11 update." That's when he started to diss Apple saying "they had several betas so why on earth couldn't they get it right the first time it was released to the public!" To which I responded (and at this point I was getting a little miffed) "at least Apple is pretty quick getting the updates out if there are major problems, because if it was android you be waiting probably three months for the update!"
Now I want someone who uses android, and I know many of you do, how long does it take to actually get a patch or updates or any major software update? Because at that point when I said this, I was going by what I read on tech news apps like AppyGeek, which merges many tech news sources into one place and makes it convenient to read all the news.
I just don't think a professional computer repair guy should wear his bias on his sleeve like he did because if I am happy with an iPhone or any other Apple product or even my BlackBerry that I love I don't think others should be judging and dissing. If anything he should be happy people are having problems because it's keeping him in business when he has to repair things. I'm sure Android devices has their issues also.
So what do you say to someone like that? I'm still in shock. He's a cool dude but man he has such bias and a strong negative opinion on Apple but no one's going to change my mind on what I like and I had very good luck with Apple products since my first iPad in October 2010, the original iPad. I know I will run into him again but whatever.
