    Hi there,

    I just updated my iPhone 6S to iOS 11 on 20th September 2017, due to heating issues I reset all the settings. So after that I set the passcode again but unluckily my iphone didn't recognized that and after a few attempts it is disabled now.

    I tried to connect to itunes and it is not recognizing my device. The I started that in recovery mode to restore, itunes said you need to download ios software which it did, but after extracting software it doesn't work with error 3503.

    I am backing up my device to itunes and now I cannot erase it from icloud as it says device is offline.

    Please help me in this regard.

    Reading this support post I'm thinking you MIGHT need to turn off "find my iPhone"


    WORSTCASE if you can't manage to resolve this yourself you may need Apple's help, you can get them here.....


    (Note: There ARE numbers for many countries so in case you are not in North America you should still be able to call)
