Why would I think about that? The only place I'll take my phone to be repaired is to an official Apple technician. There's no reason not to have authorized Apple parts inside of an Apple phone.

Personally I wouldn’t trust non-OEM parts in my iPhone. There’s a lot of garbage out there.

iMore doesn't knowingly advise members to void their warranty by using third party parts in their iPhones. Due to said warranty issues we advise members to take their iPhones to Apple. Thanks anyway.

What about iPhones that are no longer under warranty? People have a legal right to repair their phones however they see fit.
