I tend to use an iPad at home, and my iPhone when I’m out, I like both.

iPhone X now, airplay is an awesome feature paired with the Apple TV. I wish airplay would work with Safari that would be the cats ***.

It’s about 50:50 for me. I’m using my iPad when I’m home or office, and my iPhone when I’m on the move.

My iPhone is my "go to" device and then my MackBook Pro. My iPad pretty much only gets used for online Dart matches for my Electronic Dart Board which allows me to play different people all over the world from the comfort of my home.

My iPad mini 4 is my everything entertainment everyday device. My music library, movies, books, web browsing, games are all in one device. It is definitely my favorite device from Apple and it's the only iOS device I need

My iPhone the majority of the time. Mostly because it's always with me and more convenient than having my iPad everywhere with me.
So a year and a half later after my initial response to this thread, I can definitely say that I'm at the same rate but probably even more on the iPhone side. I took an overseas trip last month and didn't even bother taking anything but my XS Max. I use my iPad much, much less than I did even a year ago.

Definitely the iPhone for me. I unplug it from the charger in the morning when I get up, use it maybe 50 to 60 times for a dozen different things during the day then plug it in when l go to bed.......repeat. I use my iPad less than once a day if that.

Now it’s my iPad again. I love my phone (iPhone X) but if I don’t need the portability I go straight to my iPad, I love that thing

For myself, it’s my iPhone. I sold my iPad and laptops because I no longer perform on site training anymore. The iPhone is my primary device for my Email, messages and social media.

I think that’s with most folks these days with the cost of memory coming down and more features being implemented with each new device.

Currently I use my iPad the most because I'm not using my iPhone. When I'm carrying both, my iPhone gets used most by a wide margin.
