When I had both, IPhone never left my hand, and then it's iPad for Netflix sessions at night.

With the 7+ size and portability, I hardly touch my iPad anymore. I also have a MacBook that gathers dust most days. The iPhone does almost everything for me

I use most iPhone because it is convenient, I can use it both contact with other and access Internet, read an ebook, play the game. It is also easy to bring to any where.

iPad. I have a land line that I user for work, and my Apple Watch tells me most of the things I need to know from my iPhone. So I probably use my iPad 5 times as much. Unless I'm on the road, the iPhone largely sits idle (except for feeding my Watch)

Like most people I use my iPhone the most by far, the watch is also used everyday but is more limited to quick simple jobs

This really does pose a tough question to answer....

For me I have adapted to use the strengths of both devices which combined suit my lifestyle perfectly, for example on my recent traveling through Italy I used my 7 Plus as my sole camera and the shots were unbelievable however as soon as I was back at the hotel, I turned to my 9.7 Pro to photo edit, catch up on emails, browse theatric advisor etc.

I don't believe you can compare one device to another based as they are aimed at different uses, however.... if I did have to chose one, then it would have to be my (drum roll) 7 Plus.

The iPhone can do all that the iPad can do albeit with a smaller screen, the iPad cannot do all the the iPhone can.

Gun to my head (figuratively), I would have to go with the iPhone, since it can do everything the iPad does AND can make phone calls and send SMS. But really I think the question is a false choice. Mac, iPad, iPhone and Watch all provide functionality along the same spectrum of internet connectivity and data manipulation. Heavy duty document editing - Mac. Watching video, email, reading articles and books - iPad. Calls, SMS, listening to music and podcasts, and quick access to other apps - iPhone. Heart rate, weather, remote music control, activity tracking - Watch. If I don't have to choose, I love them all.

iPad when I'm at home. My Pixel or iPhone when I'm out. For me it comes down to convenience and screen size.

I use my iPhone the most because it depends where I am and what I am doing. My iPhone is always with me vs. my iPad I don't normally bring to work with me because I have a laptop at work. I like to do the majority of my reading for school or book reading on the iPad; however this semester it's all textbooks. I wish schools would give the option on whether you want an electronic version or not. School papers on my MacBook Pro.

Each device has it's purpose. I use my iPhone for calls, texts, and emails. I use my iPad for games, shows/movies, and crafting needs. Messages/Facetime etc. of any kind are disabled on my iPad.

I think I give each of them equal amounts of time. I could be texting on my iPhone while a game is open on my iPad.

I’ve been without an iPad for three years. I’m going to finally get the new one this year.
I’ve done well without it, but I need a place to store my books, TV shows, and movies when I travel.
