There are quite a few choices. If you're looking for a dark theme client, then Tweetbot is the way to go...

I personally use the official Twitter app. Meets my limited Twitter needs sufficiently!

I use both the Twitter app and Tweetbot. I use Tweetbot most.

Factory default one is just fine for me, I used to use Twitterrific because they had better blocking but now I think the factory Twitter took care of that

On my MacBook Air I use the official TweetDeck app. Just discovered it several months ago.
On my iPhone & iPad I sign into TweerDeck through Safari.

Tweetbot. I occasionally go back to Twitteriffic and even more rarely back to the official Twitter app. The official app lacks mainly in the image viewing department. Tweetbot and Twitteriffic allow me to see images in line and open then and scroll out just as fast without missing a beat. The official app require clicking on the link and then going back. Too much hassle.

There is a new Twitter app, called Leaf. It has a dark theme, too. I believe it is made by @iPlop

Tweetbot. Got it for macOS as well.

Pricey, but worth it if you use Twitter a lot (which doesn't mean "Tweet a lot" ).

I've used nothing but Tweetbot since it was released in April 2011. I feel absolutely lost looking at twitter without it.
