Quality of pictures when transferred from dslr to iPhone

Is the quality of pictures, when downloaded to my iPhone via wifi, compromised? I thought I was shooting in the highest resolution, but the pictures I transferred to my iPhone are very low resolution. Any answers will be appreciated. Thanks!

Depends on how you set up your iCloud photos - you could be seeing thumbnails, or full resolution... if you've set up thumbnails, you can always fetch the full res pic... https://support.apple.com/en-us/explore/taking-managing-photos
