Have you ever used a record player
They are making a comeback ...
I have noticed the comeback. I never got to use one, but I recall my parents having a few records and a record player that broke.

I was graduating junior high school and had a red and black motorola pager for page plus. When i started high school my parents got me a motorola startac or a timeport, i think. Then there was the baby of the family Compaq Presario with a whopping 400Mhz MMX 3D NOW! AMD Athlon processor, 100 gig hard drive, 128 MB of RAM, 56K modem and 10/100 ethernet port running windows 98.

I was with Sprint too in 1999. I remember the commercials with the needles falling to the floor. They promised clear calls. Oh well. Those were the days.
Funny I started with Sprint in the same year and haven't switched yet

In 1999? I was a sophomore in High School. The only people I knew that had cell phones were my dad and one person my age. I thought they were so cool. A few kids in my school had pagers, which I thought were kind of cool too.

In 1999, I was still living in London, and rolling with a Nokia 8110. BUT, the English one! Our was spring loaded when you'd push the bottom slide out to answer a call, etc. The America one, didn't do\offer that

Where were you in 1999? What device did you have?-8110.jpg

I had just been transferred to Europe (still here), and had traded my US Moto MicroTac (I think) for a new Eu Ericsson dual band world phone (company paid that 2,000$ freight.)

Didn't get my first cell phone until a year after when I started college. It was a black and white Samsung flip phone. Good phone actually, but the only Samsung I've owned since.

    Found the phone.

Props to you for being in NJ and having a Startac! I loved that phone. I don't have it anymore as I had to trade it in years ago to Verizon to get an upgrade or something like that. Wish I still had it for sentimental reasons.
