Receiving message 'this accessorie may not be supported' when charging.

Charger was purchased at Verizon store and has worked for some time.

Check for lint in the phone's linghtnig connector port and clean it out with a toothpick or tiny brush... Otherwise, it may be a sign the charger is failing, or the cable you're using is failing.
