    If you do not update your Mac to El Capitan, you should be able to continue using the iPhoto app on your Mac, if I'm not mistaken.

    That doesn't help those of us who have already upgraded (mine is to Yosemite).

    What do we do?
    My "iPhoto" was replaced with (junk) "Photo" and it doesn't even download photos from my camera to my computer in "date order" and I can't find a "sort" feature. What junk!
