Apple id and password

My daughter and I each have our own iphones. She has always used my apple id and password. How can she get her own without causing me to lose mine?

Welcome to iMore! She first needs her own email account. That's part of the Apple ID. And a password. She can make changes here:

She can still use your ID for iTunes. That way you can share the iTunes purchases. But iCloud, iMessage and Facetime ID's should be your own.

You need do nothing with your account. Just her.

Get her an AppleID of her own... just sign up the usual way - then, set up and use FamilyShare.

If you use Family Sharing, just be aware the in app purchases are not shared. You still pay those for each person. If you just share the iTunes ID, then they are shared. Family Sharing has other advantages though.
