how do I use numbers on the keyboard without having to use the 'change keyboard' button

I'm a touch typist and like to have numbers on top of the keyboard so that I can use them immediately without having to go to the alternative keyboard and back again. It's driving me mad having to stop typing to get to the numbers.

You could always try a 3rd party keyboard like Fleksy. Some of them allow you to have the numbers at the top of the keyboard.
