Since changing password I cannot receive mail on iphone and ipad

I cannot send email from iphone or ipad since I had to change my password. I can send mail on the computer. I do receive email on both devices. How do I fix this?

Welcome to iMore! Which password did you change? Apple ID? Email account? Other? Either way, try deleting the email account in Settings on both devices. Then add them back in using the correct credentials.

I'm going to assume you were on your computer when you changed your email passcode. Having said that, did you go into the Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings on your iPhone and iPad and change the current passcode to the new one for that particular email account? If not, you will be unable to retrieve email from that account on those devices because they would be trying to access the account using the wrong passcode.
