Filtering emails into folders on an iPhone

Good morning,

I was wondering if anyone has had luck filtering emails into folders on an iPhone?

I have tried setting email rules up on my Mac using the native mail app and using the native email app on my iPhone and it doesn't work great.

I have tried setting email rules up on my Mac using the Outlook app and using the Outlook app on my iPhone and it doesn't work great.

So, if you've been able to get rules and filters to work cleverly please post the set up here.

I am having the same difficulties with Mail Rules. My wife and I share a primary eaddress with individual aliases. The Mail Rules feature does not work. What do we have to do?
