Personally, I prefer Skype but that may be because I loathe Farcebook.

As to which is better, i've tried them both and I think Skype is better. This is a subjective opinion of course and your mileage may vary.

Also, Skype is considered more professional for a business communication medium than Facebook; certainly in my industry anyway.

I didn't know Facebook had a call feature. I know Facebook Messenger has it. But I guess they are one in the same. I think I would prefer Skype.

Personally prefer Skype myself. Use it to stay in contact with my family all the time. Like Highrisedrifter, I dislike Facebook.

If the work needs to be done, then I would use skype.

I dislike Skype as it provides security holes in terms of IP address, but it's kinda in the computer because every one uses it

Between the two you've mentioned, I would go with Skype. With that in mind, if you have an iOS device AND the recipient has an iOS device then give the FaceTime audio feature a try.
