    Is there any way to save an audio file (in my case, these are recorded interviews between two people) to my iPhone 6 Plus? I would then need to play it back at a slightly slower speed to transcribe.

    Welcome to iMore! Unless the audio was taken with your iPhone you'll have to use a computer to import the audio files into iTunes and then sync your phone with iTunes. For help importing audio files check out this Apple Support article: https://support.apple.com/kb/PH20507?locale=en_US
