why won't my pictures send to a email

I have pictures on my Ipad and they have been sent at least three times to my daughters email and they never arrive, I have tried my email and I don't get them either and I follow the directions. Click the box with the arrow in it and when the email address comes up I put it in and then send. I hear a sound and then the email thing is gone and just the picture is left. What am I doing wrong.

How are you sending them?

Email? iMessage? Something else?

What device is your daughter using?

Could they be too large? Ive noticed sending from/to yahoo it has been a problem but from my gmail address its fine.

Also check the format of the picture, certain mail providers won't send .tiff images
