    I went through the same frustration...and found that if I opened the page on Safari, the photo was able to be saved by holding a finger down and tapping "save image" just like before. If there is a more simple workaround...let me know.

    You can do this with almost any photo anywhere and if there is no Save image as you can select Share with and there are t least a dozen more options.
