I upgraded to El Capitan and now cannot find my contacts in my Address Book

Just upgraded to El Capitan and a lot of my apps are missing things. Finally got my old email folders to show up in the Mail but none of my contacts show up in my Address book

Try removing and then reconfiguring the email account. The associated contacts should sync to your Mac afterwards.
