how can i enter my passcord without the touch

my phone is locked and is is asking for a pass cord. but my touch dose not recognize my finger prints

Welcome to iMore! Do a soft reset and then try again. To perform a soft reset, hold both the power button and home button down until you see the Apple boot logo. Once your device restarts try logging in again. It should work now. If not let us know.

Once you restart the device, you'll have to enter your passcode.
