Can I drag a photo from a browser image into photos?

can i drag a photo from a browser image into photos

when i do a search for a specific thing (happy birthday) and then click on image I cannot drag that image into photos library on my imac - I am running el capiitan and my safari version is 9.0 - should this work as I was doing it before?

Some sites will not allow it, but for the most part, you should be able to. You should also be able to right-click on the image and select "save image" or something to that effect.
