I can not get "delete" on the first city listed under weather. How can I remove it? It came on when we were traveling thru the city.

Or just turn off the current location feature in Weather settings.

You can't delete the default location. It uses location services for GPS. It's YOUR current location. If you don't want to use the stock weather, check "never" in location services. Why would you want to delete your own location?

On my iP 5 iOS 8.4.1 there is no option to edit as you describe. The first and only is the default.

It would be nice if the OP had given more info on exactly what he was trying to do.
