You could have a number of apps that are updating in the background, twitter, FB, etc. Do you also leave BT, Wi-Fi on all the time or as needed. how much video or games are you playing and most importantly how old is your device/battery? Overtime the battery life storage ability does decrease so if you are a very heavy user and recharge multiple times a day you could have reduced battery capacity and if within the 1 year warranty could get it replaced, if you have applecare you can get it replaced or pay to get it replaced.
