    The activate on wrist rise is presently an on/off thing...there's no adjustment to it. Same goes for how long it stays on... Don't like it? Apple - Feedback

    That is what it is suppose to do. 5 seconds should be more than enough time to view the actual time on your Watch, in my opinion.
