my goal is to use a mobile phone like a desktop computer

I think the screen is too small to function as a desktop computer. If the iPhone (current 6 or 6+) had connectivity options or a dock that enabled mouse, keyboard, and HDMI (or similar for video); them maybe as a backup type system.

Which would mean the inevitable removal of the physical switch on the phone itself. I hope that doesn't happen.
