it's been 12 hours and iPhone 5s still restoring apps from back up

still downloading apps , tho I have used up 40GB of my internal storage , with apps using up all 15 pages of homescreen and that's include a lot of folders

some problem with the apple back up system

Maybe you're trying to put too much on your 5s. Rainwater may have slowed it down.

nah , never touch any water molecule no more , I know iPhone is not water resistance , not even rain resistance
