I got the email from apple this morning at 2am, saying that my application for WWDC15 was unsuccessful.. - but i've had a call from HSBC this afternoon saying apple tried to charge my card ?0 then tried to charge ?1099 (the cost of the ticket in ? Sterling) - as they tried the 2 transactions in a row, it was flagged as fraud.
is the email wrong? and i've got a ticket, or are they still charging people for the tickets anyway?!
I can't get hold of anyone at apple to clarify the situation.
