Why do some of the iMore elite hate when someone mentions something outside of the box.

Unlike liberals and conservatives,where both sides are screw ups; Apple IOS really is far superior to Android. You can't count all the Android phones. Apple makes one phone and it is head and shoulders above everything out there. It is the IPhone

Another issue with the written word, such as in these forums, is that emotion can not always be shown. For example, I could say something jokingly, and meant to be taken lightly, but depending on how I type it...it could come across to others as being mean or negative.

Sometimes people read things the wrong way, and instead of trying to understand it they immediately go on the attack.

You guys are veterans as someone said above, but from a new guys prospective I see things differently that's why the questions. I'll slowly learn what to post it not post, thanks for you opinion.

Basically if you are interested in things other than Apple you should go somewhere else. Many people here speak Apple and only Apple.

I love apple devices and the sole reason why I went android is because I couldn't stand. The 3.5 inch screen. Now with the iPhone 6 plus I thought about getting the 6 plus but while I think it's a great phone I don't feel the need to uproot myself again to get an iPhone. I love my note 4 but at the same time think the 6 plus is a fantastic phone.

iPads I think are vastly superior devices for overall use imo. For media consumption I would say get a Samsung Galaxy tab S since the aspect ratio is better plus the screen is one of the best in a tablet right now imo

So ? I have an iPad and an note 4 and since I have both it makes my opinions invalid ? As my above post says I think the iPhone 6 plus is an fantastic device..., just don't feel the need to uproot again for it

You're one of the few android users that don't hate apple. I had a galaxy S4 for a while. While I thought it was a good phone, I honestly just prefer using IOS.

I'm sorry. I didn't know the word "Many" meant everyone.

Seriously though, you haven't seen people get upset when someone asks a reasonable question about Android/Google? I've seen it enough on this forum. It's like if they have the option for something Google they have to hate it as though they are forced to use it beyond their will. It's sad really. Their love for Apple has clouded their ability to see choice as something that benefits everyone.

I think there is quite a few people who actually like android or picked android because it's cheaper or had the bigger display. Since the iPhone 6 plus launched I would think a lot of people wold switch over to apple because of it. I would love to but with the amount of paid apps on android makes me want to stay because then I would have to buy them all over again ( already am as it is with a few games lol )

I don't think people need to "go elsewhere" simply for being interested in things other than apple. Likes and dislikes, opinions, thoughts, feeligs, etc., are what make communication and discussion (even arguments) interesting. I like many things, including apple and my iphone...which is why I am in these forums. In the past, I have used other devices with different operating systems, but I still was a part of these forums.

If the only people who voiced their opinions and thoughts in these forums were 100% apple lovers only, it would be pretty boring and close minded.

Yes everyone on here uses IOS. If you don't use apple products then you should leave.
