I'd say if the event is on the 9th then iOS 8 is released to the public the 16th or 17th, and hardware on the 19th. Pre-order online 9/12

iOS 7 was 2 days before the 5s release. In keeping with that, it would be the 17th if the 6 is released the 19th. There's still time for more rumors!

Damn, I'm generally an Android guy but Apple conferences always get me super excited.
Just recently upgraded into a Gnote 3 and ended up selling that, so maybe I'll use the money to cover my ETF and get the iPhone 6. I feel like every time I leave Apple I end up hating the Android phone I buy and looking at that years newest iPhone. I really need to get a hint.
