I have a feeling all the people who were up in arms because they weren't happy with their FREE gifts last year might have led to Apple going "screw it" for this year.

A lot of people in this thread are among those who contributed to the problem. Nice job.

I think it's pretty funny people hold the standard of being "grateful" in the situation of last years 12 days of Gifts from Apple. It was a marketing tool that Apple used to stimulate new users to buy things in the App store by getting them IN the App store to get their free stuff. Apple doesn't care about something as trivial as customers being grateful about anything, lol! To think that is honestly hilarious...Apple probably didn't find the program as successful as other outlets of marketing, so they chose other routes.

We're not dealing with Grandma and Grandpa's ugly xmas sweater and socks gift here...Apple isn't sitting at home with a sad face that they didn't get joy and glee from everyone over their "gifts".
