iPhone 5s Upgrade

This has probably been asked before but I use a 4s and I'm soon due an upgrade.

I use my 4s for personal and work. I have a huge amount of data and apps and email folders.
Is there a way to back everything up and restore to a new 5s or would I have to literally start from scratch and re download everything and transfer data manually.

Use iCloud as well as hook to iTunes and make a backup .. Everything will transfer

yeah follow peligro and for the data part and dont know if the sim card slot is the same size for the iphone 5s
